FAMOUS CONSTELLATIONS (Hover)
Perhaps the most famous constellation in the sky. It is easily identified by Orion's Belt, a row of three bright stars. It also contains the Orion Nebula, a favorite target for space photographers.
Home to Sirius, the brightest star in the entire night sky.
This constellation contains the Big Dipper. It is "circumpolar," meaning for many in the Northern Hemisphere, it never sets below the horizon.
Known for the fiery red star Aldebaran and the stunning Pleiades (The Seven Sisters) star cluster.
